WarrantyBox ("the App") is a personal warranty and receipt tracker. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App uses and how it is handled.
The App stores the following data that you enter manually or import:
This data is stored locally on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, synced to your private iCloud account via Apple CloudKit.
If you have iCloud enabled on your device, your data is automatically synced to your personal iCloud account using Apple CloudKit. Only you can access this data — we have no access to your iCloud storage. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → WarrantyBox.
The App may request access to your camera and photo library to let you attach receipt and warranty images. Photos are stored locally on your device (and synced to iCloud if enabled). We do not upload images to any external server.
The App may request permission to send local notifications to remind you about upcoming warranty expirations and payment due dates. All notifications are generated locally on your device — no data is transmitted to any server.
WarrantyBox does not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking services. No personal data is shared with third parties.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple's Privacy Policy governs that transaction: apple.com/legal/privacy
You can delete all your data at any time from Settings → Data → Delete all data. This removes all receipts, photos, and preferences from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, deletion will propagate to all your devices.
The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be available within the App and at our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
